Janice Meakin
has been teaching aerobics and body conditioning for 20 years. She is a professional health and fitness consultant who regularly writes articles, and, at workshops and conferences, describes the benefits of power walking and other exercise in everyday life. With one marathon, many shorter races of 3–9 miles (5–14km), three sprint triathlons, and one London Moonwalk – Britain’s premier power walking event – under her belt, she is presently studying for a master’s degree in Professional Leadership in Healthcare.
