Diana Holland trained as a dance teacher with Christine Hocking, who adapted the machine-based pilates method to the mat-based body-control system. Diana also spent many years in intensive yoga training under the highly regarded teacher and author Maxine Tobias, and completed a two-year certificated course under Elizabeth Conley. She later developed her own brand of yoga pilates fusion, which she teaches regularly, using her choreography skills to present moves in fresh and inspiring ways, tailored to the individual.

It has long been recognised that yoga, through a combination of breathing techniques and physical exercises, genuinely brings about inner peace and harmony, as well as greater physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Pilates, meanwhile, targets more precisely the body’s deeper stabilising muscles for whole-body suppleness, power, grace and strength. Flowmotion Yogapilates fuses these two worlds into a fully choreographed exercise routine that will leave mind and body refreshed, invigorated and relaxed.

The synthesis of both disciplines is a powerful combination of core strength development with a profound, holistic opening up of mind and body. Flowmotion Yogapilates offers a combination of classic positions such as Eagle, Child and Palm Tree with uniquely developed fusion sequences for a complete workout.
